Penguins Tour (departs afternoon return late evening)
See the towns of Dandenong and Cranbourne as you drive south to Phillip Island to see the parade of Fairy Penguins. As dusk descends, the miniature penguins emerge from the sea to their dunes on the beach. A delight for the photographer, as spotlights highlight this unusual spectacle. A scrumptious buffet carvery dinner is included this evening at Philip Island before returning to your hotel.
Scenic Tour - Great Ocean Road - Full Day
Today’s tour visits some of the most spectacular and breathtaking coastal scenery found in Australia. Travel along the Great Ocean Road with views over the golden sand surf beaches, sheer cliff faces, and magnificent stands of Eucalypts. Travel to Apollo Bay where you will have some time for a leisurely stroll along the beach. From here leave the coast and wind through the ferny slopes of the Otway Mountain Ranges. At Princetown the Great Ocean Road returns to hug the coastline the entire length of Port Campbell National Park. It has tortured, twisted shapes of amazing rock formations. See the Twelve Apostles – huge stone pillars rising from the surf, remnants of London Bridge, a rocky promontory arch carved out by the continual force of the sea, and Loch Ard Gorge – site of the dramatic shipwreck over 100 years ago. Over 150 ships have made this stretch of coast their watery grave. The return journey travels through the lovely townships of Coal and Winchelsea before arriving back into Melbourne.

People from all nations poured into Ballarat to seek a fortune, many found the real Australia and decided to make this great land their home. Today, you too can capture the excitement of these bawdy times as you visit the scene of revolt, rebellion and the emergence of democracy at Eureka and Sovereign Hill - Ballarat. Puffing Billy/Wineries/Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary - Full Day
Travel on Australia’s oldest operating steam train, Puffing Billy. It’s journey runs 13 kilometers through delightful mountain scenery of the Dandenongs. Join your coach at Menzies Creek and make your way to the grape growing region of the Yarra Valley, boasting some 37 wineries and 82 vineyards. Enjoy a spit roast lunch at Fergusson’s Winery. After lunch continue with wine tasting, visiting two more Yarra Valley wineries, St. Huberts and Domaine Chandon, before returning to Melbourne.
